Quoted turnaround times are the times from receipt of specimen into the laboratory to 90% of reports leaving the laboratory. Stated times are based on normal working hours, Monday to Friday, excluding statutory bank and public holidays.
Serology
The following tests are done daily (Monday to Friday), with a turnaround time of 2-5 days*.
*Ranges are given where tests may be ordered individually or in combination (necessitating sequential testing on a single sample) - reports may not be issued until all tests are completed.
