Microbiology & Infection

The scope of the Microbiology and Infection Service, 9678, is presently suspended from UKAS accreditation.

The Microbiology laboratories, situated on Level 7 RSCH and 1st floor PRH, provide a comprehensive service in diagnostic clinical microbiology including virology and environmental testing. The service is closely allied with the Brighton and Sussex Medical School. Several honorary positions are affiliated to the service as a result of this close collaboration.
