Samples required |
CSF (plain universal container), 1mL minimum. CSF samples should be sent to the department immediately after being taken to avoid deterioration. Samples should be received in Immunohaematology lab by 5pm Mon-Thurs and by 3pm Fridays to allow for correct local storage/analysis. Samples should be analysed within 24 hours and stored locally at fridge temperature. Not tested at weekends or Bank Holidays. |
