Haemoglobin HbA2: 2.0 - 3.2 % Source: ranges determined in-house. Samples are referred by Haematology Department for molecular investigation of haemoglobinopathy / thalassaemia if necessary after in-house HPLC, sickle screen and haemoglobin electrophoresis are complete.
2 x 4 mL EDTA blood required.
