Sodium heparin blood (navy blue cap, 6 mL tube) for adults. Paediatric navy top tubes not available - clotted samples (gold cap) are accepted for younger children.

Test indications

Please also check caeruloplasmin and urine copper if Wilson’s Disease is suspected.
