Samples required |
3x EDTA blood (purple cap/ yellow cap ring, 4 mL tube) for full profile. Bring to lab immediately, on ice. Samples must be separated within 15 minutes of venepuncture. Do not send via pneumatic tube (pod) system. Please indicate hormones required on request form. Patient must be fasting (without water for gastrin), unless for Chromogranin A and/or B only. |
