GAD antibodies are associated with stiff-person syndrome and type 1 (autoimmune) diabetes mellitus.

Turnaround time

Referral lab quotes a target reporting time of 2 weeks, however additional time must be allowed for packing, dispatch and delivery of sample, and return and processing of results.
